About this Course

Join us for a walking tour around Mill Lake to learn about the Indigenous plants traditionally used by the Máthxwi and Semá:th peoples for medicines and food. The session will include storytelling and group drawing exercises led by the City of Abbotsford's 2025 Artist in Residence, Vanessa Serroul. Free for all ages. Registration recommended. Drop-in will be accommodated. This event begins at Heritage Abbotsford Society. Participants will be led around Mill Lake on both paved and unpaved paths. Please dress appropriately the weather as this event will occur rain or shine. All drawing materials provided.
